U.N. Programs Attended: Mr. Spore attended the 7th Annual Youth Assembly (August 4 – 6, 2010) in New York City.

Washington Scholars Fellowship: Professional experience in energy commodity risk management and trading; shale gas; energy management
Registered Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, and Certified Lighting Energy Professional from the Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Spore worked in the Engineering team of the National Transportation Safety Board. Mr. Spore assisted the engineering team in reviewing and assessing information from flight data recorders.

International Involvement Background: Mr. Spore has worked in the United States and Russia. Mr. Spore has traveled to 20 countries on four continents for studying and recreation.

Professional Experience: Mr. Spore has worked across several service offerings in the energy industry including energy commodity risk management and trading; shale gas; energy management; global strategy related to energy; brownfield power plant design. Mr. Spore is a registered Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, and Certified Lighting Energy Professional – all these certifications were awarded by the Association of Energy Engineers.

Future Plans: Starting in fall 2010, Mr. Spore is working an international assignment based in Portugal. Mr. Spore plans to continue to lead delegations of young leaders to the annual Youth Assembly held at the United Nations in New York City.
