Board of Advisors Listing

Our Foundation Board of Advisors is comprised of a broad range of friends, colleagues, and mentors that have been involved with Admiral Carey over the years in his numerous careers in the U. S. Navy, the U. S. Federal Maritime Commission, the U. S. House of Representatives, the Presidential Administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, and service on a broad range of corporate, association, and not-for-profit Boards of Directors, Boards of Trustees, Boards of Governors, and Boards of Advisors. As the Admiral likes to say, “Nobody—- NOBODY—- has a successful career all on their own. Each of us needs the sound advice and counsel of friends and colleagues and those who have expertise in areas where we individually do not. I have been tremendously fortunate to have had a wonderful group of such fine and talented people as friends and colleagues, and I truly and readily admit that without their mentoring and caring and support and advocacy of me in my life’s careers, THERE WOULD BE NO ADMIRAL JAMES J. CAREY FOUNDATION because I would not have achieved the estate to be able to fund the Foundation. It is my intention to continue to seek the advice and counsel of these fine and intelligent friends, both in this foundation and in other matters of mutual interest, for the rest of my days on this planet, and will be truly and forever grateful that they have been there for me throughout my lifetime”.

So with that statement by “The Boss”, there’s not much more that needs to be said. The following is the listing of the Board of Advisors for the Admiral James J. Carey Foundation
